چکیده

Overall occurrence of Escherichia coli in the current study was 7.55% and corresponding group wise 13%, 2.66%, 10% 7% a faecal cloacal samples, environmental Retailer’s shop’s restaurant samples respectively. Amongst different type processed, highest recovery from collected at poultry farms (13%) followed by shop (10%) suggesting heavy infection contamination occurring initial points chain. In this study, four isolates failed to exhibit pathogenic potential E. using - vitro assays viz. Congo red dye binding assay haemolysis 5% sheep blood agar, also turned out be negative on virulent marker based PCR, proficient efficacy targeted genes ecp uidA for precise time saving determination isolates. Besides, one isolate recovered raw chicken meat sample showed resistance against all 15 antibiotics other two litter 14 development multi-drug common food pathogens, most widely used effective drug choices animal as well human medicine.

Molecular characterization of multidrug-resistant avian pathogenic Escherichia coli isolated from septicemic broilers.

Avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) causes extensive mortality in poultry flocks, leading to extensive economic losses. To date, little information is available on the molecular basis of antimicrobial resistance in APEC in Africa. Therefore, the objective of this study was to characterize the virulence and antimicrobial resistance of multidrug-resistant APEC isolated from septicemic broile...

Some Adhesins of Avian Pathogenic Escherichia Coli (apec) Isolated from Septicemic Poultry in Brazil

Three hundred and fifty strains of E. coli isolated from septicemic poultry from seven states of Brazil were examined for presence of nine adhesion-encoding genes, hemagglutination and adherence to chicken tracheal cells (in vitro). Analysis of the strains by colony hybridization tests demonstrated that 93.7% of the isolates were fim +, 17% pap+ and 5.7% were sfa+. The mannose sensitive fimbria...

Genome Sequences of Avian Pathogenic Escherichia coli Strains Isolated from Brazilian Commercial Poultry

Avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) infections are responsible for significant losses in the poultry industry worldwide. The disease might present as different local infections or as septicemia. Here, we present the draft genome sequences of three Brazilian APEC strains isolated from different kinds of infections. The availability of these APEC genome sequences is important for gaining a t...

Phylogenetic analysis of multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli clones isolated from humans and poultry.

Chicken products represent a source for multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli causing extraintestinal infections (ExPEC) in humans. We applied phylogenetic analysis to a collection of E. coli strains from both hosts (poultry/humans) to improve our understanding of the origin and spread of ExPEC in humans. The dataset consisted of 58 sequences among 172 E. coli strains from human extraintestinal ...

Phylogenetic typing and molecular detection of virulence factors of avian pathogenic Escherichia coli isolated from colibacillosis cases in Japanese quail

Colibacillosis caused by avian pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) is an economic threat to the poultry industry throughout the world. Some of the virulence genes may enhance the ability of E. coli isolates to grow in the tissues of broilers. The APEC strains are assigned to a few distinct phylogenetic groups. The purpose of the present study was to detect the virulence genes a...
